When you watch Anthony’s heartwarming story, told in her own words about her life in Uganda as a child with a disability, it is easy to understand why reusable diapers (and pads) are transformative. As Anthony explains, life is much harder without them.

Disposable diapers are extremely costly for the carers who look after the children, and they are not environmentally friendly.

CreateCare Global aims to raise the money with your kindness to purchase the fabric in Uganda required to make 500 reusable diapers and pads.

This will supply 250 children with a disability currently in need with two reusable diapers and/or pads.

Wonderfully, it will also provide the materials and sewing kits necessary to train the older children with disabilities to make the diapers and pads and give them a usuable skill and the means to make a small income.

You cannot get a better win all round then that.

As we approach Christmas, with our focus on our family, lets think about the brothers and sisters of our children who are in need.
